Sally A. will teach Fabric Origami at our next mini workshop in March.
Work Shops will be on guild night, starting at 5:30pm.
A help workshop will be held on the meeting night in the rear of sitting area. 5:30 -6:30pm. There is a sign up list titled "HELP LIST", please sign up if you are needing help with something. There will be someone here to assist you with your stumbling block, etc. This is not a class, just someone to help get you through.
Daytime sit and sew signup sheet on table, please sign up if you are interested
QDO (QUILTERS DAY OUT) March 24th, 10am until 4:30pm
Don’t forget your name badge. You will have to pay to get in if you do not have your name badge.
Members will start setting up on Friday. If you are free and can lend a hand give Carol a call.
Don’t forget we will need you to stay over on Saturday to help dismantle and clean up.
Shriners will be providing food again for us this year.
Still need donations for the book table. You can also bring notions for this table.

Please assist the vendors if you can unload and load up,
Lisa made out a job chart. Please review the chart for your station and time to report. Please be at ODQ by 930am if you are on the first shift for last minute instructions or changes.
Holly Hock taking reservations to ride the bus to Cincinnati for the quilt show...April 13th... $45.00 which includes, ride, admission, tote bag, 2012 festive pin, and a program.

Cutting Triangles with special rulers.. Easy Angle Ruler and a Companion Angle Ruler.
"Half Yard Cruise Challenge" Do not cut out your triangles if you do not have these rulers.

The King quilt was revealed. Beautiful!! Card Tricks is the name. The quilt is ready for quilting.

Feb Recipes...............
BANANA SPLIT SALAD
Lg container of cool whip, 1-can sweet condensed milk, Lg can crushed pineapple (drained), lg. Can cherry pie filling, 3-lg bananas (sliced), ½ cup pecan pieces. Mix altogether and chill.
DIP FOR VEGETABLES
1 cup light miracle whip, 1 cup light sour cream, 1-Tablespoon dried parsley flakes, 1-Tablespoon minced onions, 1-teaspoon seasoned salt, 1-teaspoon dried dill weed. Mix thoroughly - taste best if mixed several hours before serving.
CHEESE BALL
2-8oz pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, 1 ½ bunches of green onions, chopped. 1 ½ tsp. Accent, 1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 pkg. Smoked dried beef. Mix all together with one package of chopped beef. Roll ball in second package.
CREAM CHEESE GINGER SPREAD
2-8oz cream cheese, ½ cup miracle whip, 1/4 to ½ cup carrots, 1/4 cup crystallized Ginger. Mix well.

Carol opened the meeting by welcoming everyone and welcoming the visitors.
